Mostafa Essam Shaat

Mostafa Essam Shaat is a human rights researcher specializing in freedom of media and press at the Association for Freedom of Thought and Expression in Egypt. He holds an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Notre Dame. He previously worked with the Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies where he assisted in the coordination of their “Egypt’s Transition” Program.
