[Report by Khudayr Tahir: "Did the Iraqi Satellite Channel spy on Abu-Rishah?"]
The Iraqi Satellite [Al-Fada'iyah al-Iraqiyah] is the official state-run television station. It is currently under the hegemony of pro-Iranian militias that have transformed it into a mere place to hurl insults and vent sectarian poison in order to shred society into pieces. This station is not allowed to broadcast any news report pertaining to the Iranian intervention in Iraq. Iran is a red line that cannot be criticized and only news reports that polish its image can be aired. In fact, the doors of the Al-Fada'iyah have been opened wide to the elements of the Lebanese Hezbollah party that is run by Iran to broadcast sectarian programmes in an attempt to consecrate division and civil war in Iraq!
After the success of the revolt of the Al-Anbar tribes, we were surprised to see the Iraqi Satellite showing interest in the people of Al-Anbar and visiting them and taking ! pictures of their lives. This really aroused our amazement. How could it be that the militias that control the Iraqi Satellite care about the people of Al-Anbar and show their love to them when these same militias are killing the sons of the Sunnis in Baghdad every day on the basis of their identity? Of course, Sunni criminals are also killing the Shias in Baghdad and elsewhere on the basis of their identity as well. The photography crews of the Iraqi Satellite that filmed the place where martyr Sattar Abu-Rishah lived, such as his home, farm, and horse stable aroused the suspicions of anyone with an instinct about security. When the events are linked to one another we will discover that this filming was to survey the area in which Abu-Rishah lived and pinpoint the security vulnerabilities in order to exploit these security gaps in the criminal assassination plot. What strengthens this analysis is the fact that several Al-Anbar shaykhs were criminally murdered in Al-Mansur ! Hotel in Baghdad that is under the protection of the militias that are controlled by Iran and the murder of poet Rahim al-Maliki with them. Rahim al-Maliki was an employee in the Iraqi Satellite and used to visit Al-Anbar with the crew of photographers. We can proceed with the analysis and speculate that the Iranian intelligence service deliberately killed poet Al-Maliki along with the Al-Anbar shaykhs in order to cover up the spying role of the Iraqi Satellite.
Then came the Al-Maliki government's continuous attack on the Al-Anbar tribes, the suspension of aid including the salaries of the police force, and the neglect of the needs of Al-Anbar until George W. Bush's latest visit and his instructions to the Iraqi government to provide assistance to the city. The Al-Maliki government grudgingly provided more than $84 million and generated job opportunities to the sons of the town. This climate exposes the anger and displeasure of the Shi'ite, Sunni, and Kurdish parties and subsequently Iran and Syria at the great national role of the Al-A! nbar tribes, especially the role of Shaykh Abu-Rishah that frightened the Iraqi politicians and pulled the rug from under their feet. Briefly, we believe -through this logical analysis that is based on suspicions -that many sides participated in the criminal murder of martyr Abu-Rishah, particularly the Iranian and Syrian intelligence services and the militias that are run by Iran and the elements of Al-Qa'idah. Although Al-Qa'idah announced its responsibility for this crime, this does not negate Iran's responsibility. The reality says that those who are responsible for the Al-Qa'idah criminals are Iran and Syria.
