News website launched in Iraqi Kurdistan

Text of report by Kamaran Abda Salih from Raniya headlined: "A new Kurdish website founded", carried by Iraqi Patriotic Union of Kurdistan-funded daily Aso on 8 January

A new website called Kurdistan4Press [www.Kurdistan4press.com] has been launched in three languages, namely Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish. The main office of the website is based in Arbil. It is overseen by Editor-in-chief Rebin Azad Tofiq, Head of News Section Aso Ali Faraj, Technical Manager Ahmad Isma'il, Designer Umed Sherzad and proof-reader Sardar Ahmad Mustafa.

A well-informed source has commented on the content of the website saying: "Kurdistan4Press focuses mainly on news, reportage and analytical reports on the developments in Kurdistan and the world. In the meantime, it will be an open platform for writers to express their views."
