Algerian journalist jailed for 10 years on charges of spying for Israel

    An Algerian court in the Kabylie region has sentenced an Algerian journalist to 10 years in prison on charges of spying for Israel.

    Journalist Said Sahnouni was found guilty of passing information relating to the Algerian [People's National] Army to the Israeli Mossad according to the details of the trial. The court acquitted a policeman being tried on the same charges without naming him.
