The first Arab sitcom shot in front of a live studio audience will air this Ramadan, using the method popularized by American shows such as Friends and Frasier.

The $2.2 million project, known as Ragel Wa Sit Sittat (One Man and Six Ladies) is helmed by Lebanese director Assad Fouladkar and produced jointly by Egypt’s Screen 2000 and Lebanon’s Sabbah Media Corporation (SMC) in collaboration with the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC).  Full story.
