Our online publication has a rich history of quality contributions to the field of media research and analysis. Founded in the 1998 as Transnational Broadcasting Studies, the change to Arab Media & Society in 2007 came as a response to the quickly evolving media space. The journal has operated as a hybrid publication; offering detailed academic analysis, long-form journalism and multimedia content, including our podcast.
Arab Media & Society is published by the Adham Center for Television and Digital Journalism in the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo.
