The Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International, widely known as LBCI, is the first private television station in Lebanon. It was founded during the Lebanese civil war in 1985 and went global in 1996 when it launched its satellite channel LBC Al-Fadha'iya Al-Lubnaniya covering the Arab World. Currently, LBCI ranks number one in Lebanon holding the highest viewership rates.
