New TV for Iranian Kurds starts broadcasting from Sweden

The Kurdish people now have another TV channel. Newroz TV, which had started test transmissions in February this year, began regular broadcasts today, 27 November.

Newroz TV will broadcast from Sweden. Its transmissions will begin at 1700 and end at 1900 European time. It aims to become the voice of the people of eastern Kurdistan. It will broadcast in Kirmanji, Sorani and address the people of Iran in Persian.
