Sudanese Al-Shuruq satellite TV to begin pilot broadcast 1 December – report

Sudan: First of December, Al-Shirouq begins broadcasting programmes

Khartoum, 30 Nov (SMC) - Al-Shirouq satellite channel announced the beginning of its pilot broadcast on mid-day Saturday, 1 December 2007.

They bring glad tidings to the Sudanese people, announcing the birth of another Sudanese media giant, with a view to improving and leading the Sudanese media message at the global level.

Broadcasting will begin after meetings with the channel's team in the Dubai Information city, the Sudan office, and correspondents in the various states of Sudan.

We hope that launching of the channel will enhance the Sudanese media.
