Ilhem Allagui

Ilhem Allagui is an Associate Professor at Northwestern University in Qatar. She graduated from Université de Montréal-Canada (2006) with a PhD in Communication Sc. Prior to that, She earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from HEC Tunisia, a graduate degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Communication Sc. from Université de Montréal (2000).   Ilhem's professional experience includes Advertising/PR agency experience as well as Internet industry experience in Montréal. Prior to joining Northwestern University in Qatar (NUQ), She enjoyed teaching at the Université de Montréal, Département de Communication, HEC Montréal, Départment de Marketing, and American University of Sharjah (UAE), Mass Communication Department. She teaches PR/Strategic Communication, Advertising and IMC, and Internet and Social Media Marketing. Her research areas of interest include advertising and PR, social media marketing communication, Internet adoption and usage, Internet and social change, in particular in the MENA region.
