Lobna Khairy is an Egyptian researcher specializing in media policies, regulations, and gender issues. She earned her master's degree with honors in Journalism and Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo in 2017, through which she presented the first Gender-based Media Code that was adopted by the National Council for Women and is currently implemented as part of the media policy of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation. Khairy is an assistant lecturer at the Department of journalism at the Modern University of Science and Technology.
